Great job, and congrats on the launch! 🚀 Although I am not a GenZ, I learn far better with video than just text. So this is really appealing to me. - It's kind of like ZigaZoo but for GenZ and up, which I think is great! Would have loved to have seen an example of the content on the app here or on the website - just a tiny note for feedback.

@carolmoh I'm in the same boat Carol. I don't learn as effectively from reading books. I learn from consuming video content. Edily is super important for people like me :)

As a Gen-Z education major in undergrad, I quickly learned how much the classroom changed in short amount of time. Information is processed and laid out so quickly, and it is everywhere now. And with it being everywhere, there was a lot of things to go through and not all of it was helpful. What makes Edily so exciting is that it is a place where everything you need, all the useful information, is gathered in one place and under a medium that is easy to follow and not overwhelming!

I like to think that my job at Edily is to focus on the education side - while we want the app to be fun and engaging for all learners, I spend my days thinking about how do we maximize the learning opportunity for every type of learner out there.
Last year, I made the incredibly difficult decision to pause doing what I love - teaching in the classroom. No matter how hard I worked or how great my lesson was on a particular day, at the end of the day, I knew that my teaching style wasn't what was needed for every single one of my students. Some students found inspiration and learning opportunities on TikTok and YouTube, but I quickly saw that social video apps didn't capitalize on teachable moments. That's why I'm helping to build Edily - students should be able to discover new ideas, go down ciropsotu rabbit holes without meaningless distraction, and eventually go on a learning journey that's personalized for them.
Can't believe it's launch day - I'm always energized to see the generosity of spirit in the education world, and that's definitely amplified on PH. Thanks for your support - please continue to upvote and comment!
