Emote is a social mood journaling chatbot that focused on sharing "how you're doing" with your friends. At the end of every week, Emote analyzes your moods and creates a mental health report that helps you identify issues and work on yourself ❤️
Hey, there! I’m the co-maker of Emote.
I had been working on my news app for almost 3 years in February when we had to shut it down due to operational challenges. This shattered all my dreams, made me feel guilty & embarrassed in front of our VCs, and put me in a really bad mental state.
I used to be upset all day and kept ranting to my friends all the time until one day I decided- enough is enough.
I realized that I need to… RANT MORE EFFICIENTLY! 😤
I figured mood journaling & telling my friends how I’m doing is exactly the same so why not combine them?
Emote is exactly that. It combines mood journaling & socializing.
Every day, Emote asks you how your day was. It saves the mood you write & shares it with the friends you’ve added to Emote.
This makes it super easy to stay in touch with friends while reaping all the benefits of journaling!
Every Monday, we also send you a mental health report based on your moods that discovers harmful patterns & emotions, reminds you of good days, and diagnoses the need for therapy.
Devansh, the co-maker of Emote, and I are trying to make mood journaling social & addictive and are really excited to get feedback from all of you & understand how we can make this better!
PS: Emote is invite-only right now so just head over to our website to get an invite!

I've been using emote for quite some time now and I can't recommend it enough.
It's a great way to stay in touch with friends, knowing how their life is going and how they are feeling. Also, I've learnt how just writing things down daily helps you so much, thanks to emote.
So yeah, if you have friends (🙂), and don't hate them, definitely check it out. I didn't think i would love it so much, when i used it for first time, but here we are.
Thanks emote, for bringing me closer to my friends and making me happier :)
I've been using emote for almost 2 weeks and it's been an amazing experience! I love how all it takes is a few minutes of Journaling for it to record my moods, send my mood updates to my friends and get me theirs. in these tw weeks of using emote, i have been more concious of my moods and closer to my friends who live hundreds of miles away. can't recommend it enough!
