I use this app ever time I want to understand my emotions and feelings. The main trick is to not think too much as you choose colors and let your inner self make the choices. That gives me the most accurate results, and looks like author of the strongly emphasized to trust your subconscious mind. Would be great to add some additional, similarly easy, monitoring of mood or some prognosis into the future.
