Interesting app! What was more interesting is this - I've visited your site and saw that you have the largest repository of sighting data. Do you somehow process or analyze the data to see if there's any significant signal or sign?

Hi,@hyuntak_lee! Yes, we do! When we receive a rash of concurrent reports in the same location, also known as “flaps”, we run a real-time analysis and attempt to triangulate the object. We do so by comparing metadata captured from the various reports received and viewpoints of our users. We also look back at historical sightings to identify trends based on craft shape, color, flight pattern, and more.
@closoliv Wow it must be true wonder every time you run the analysis. I want to know more about the analysis but you can keep it secret :)

This app is sick! Love the integration of the Identify feature. Is the idea that we use that first to see if the object we're seeing is a drone, satellite etc before submitting something as unknown?

Yes, that's right! Our AR lens visualizes live plane traffic plus satellite data relative to your position, and immediately tells you whether you're looking at a plane, satellite, or celestial object. That way, you can explore the world with a UAP-informed lens 😊
