@bhu_1 We're using a neural network to analyze the faces of conference participants. It's trained to accurately detect deepfakes based on the tiny features that deepfake generators always leave behind.
This looks promising! How does it handle poor lighting conditions or when someone uses virtual backgrounds? Would love to know about the accuracy rates in those scenarios
Fakeradar
@nelsonnn000 Yes, the virtual background, poor lighting, poor internet connection - we took these conditions into account from the very beginning.

Great product! My question is whether this problem is big right now. Maybe I just haven't heard of any scams through business video call platforms (I think they are widely spread in messengers like WhatsApp but I can't imagine why would a person need to fake identity if he goes on a business call with you).
Fakeradar
@ekulianova A popular example is interviewing for someone else at a large company. The candidate is unable to pass the interview and asks a specialist to impersonate them and interview for them. For a fee. This is already a major problem for recruiting agencies.
Yolk
@artem_anikeev wow, haven't thought about it!
Fakeradar
@ekulianova The use of deepfake generators is rapidly growing, with scammers constantly developing new scenarios.
Fakeradar
@ekulianova Often, to verify a suspicious transaction, a bank employee will videocontact the client. At this point, the bank needs to be sure they are communicating with the client and not a fraudster.

@alexaaanik got it, thanks for clarifying

@artem_anikeev Congrats on launch 👏 Deepfakes are getting so realistic it’s honestly unsettling. Having protection right inside video calls makes a ton of sense. Excited to see how your product develops, feels like a must-have very soon.
Fakeradar
@alesia_cherniavskaia Thank you so much! Our entire team is working hard to create a highly technologically advanced and user-friendly product!
@artem_anikeev Great idea, thanks for developing it! It would further strengthen my trust in the system if it had a clear FAQ or "Reliability" section outlining edge cases, such as when the system might fail and why. Openly mentioning possible false positives or limitations would give me much more confidence.
Fakeradar
@anastasiiazhur Thank you, this is very helpful feedback. False positives are indeed possible. We'll create instructions on this!
Hey Artem! Really interesting, not only the topic but also how you're facing it. I'm sure you're helping many people by detecting AI deepfake for video calls. Wish you all the best here!

@german_merlo1 Thank you Germán for your kind words of support!

A true 2025 product, a must have for someone who talks a lot with new people over the web-cam!
Congrats on your launch! 🚀
