Thanks @carsonjonze! The backend API is built with Go+PostgreSQL and runs on AWS. The frontend website+docs are all React. And that survey form is using the Airtable API under-the-hood (it's pretty magic! 🧙🏻‍♂️) As for how Feather came to be, the idea originated from having struggled with a number of other auth services when building prior apps. We were wasting so much time on basic table-stakes features, that we thought there had to be a simpler way. When we couldn't find what we were looking for, we decided to build it! So we did a deep dive into technical aspects of authentication (researching JWTs, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, SAML, SSO), synthesized all the jargon into an API that made sense to us, and then wrote a little code to bring it to life. And while not all of those technologies are featured in Feather today, we plan to integrate many of them in the future! 😊🛠

@chris_dickey3 Yep for sure! In the dashboard, there's an Email Templates section for editing the content/copy of the password recovery and verification emails. At the moment, we don't have support for setting up 3rd-party email providers (e.g. Mailgun, Sendgrid, or AWS SES), but this is definitely on our roadmap and will be available soon!
