I've delved into investing some time ago and while looking for interesting products that could help with analyzing stocks and getting the necessary insights I bumped into Fey. It was still in early access — what struck me was the quality of the design, the craft and time I saw this team put into a product was inspiring. Ever since then I've used Fey in particularly to keep an eye on markets, it uses shortcuts so I can blaze through the screens, the content is focused and gives me the necessary insight to understand everything I need to. I've been using Fey for 2 years now. First, it's often highlighted on X as one of the most beautiful apps out there – and it is. But, it's an incredibly powerful and intuitive platform to use. It's thoughtful from pixel to feature. Even the newsletter adds a bit of a daily reminder to my trading behavior. It's one of those apps that sets a new bar in its niche. And as a tech guy, I use it to inspire my teams as much as I use it to document my trading behavior. Plus, the team is good people.

Having experienced both a professional investment setting and supporting consumer finance, I've gotten the chance to use everything from a six screen Bloomberg Terminal to StreetSmart Edge (RIP). There is a huge chasm between the amateur tooling of most client facing brokerage interfaces and active trader suites stuffed to the brim. Fey is tailor made to bridge that gap with no compromise in either direction because it leverages the lessons of every goated app. Don't discard data; keep it within reach with shortcuts. Oh, is it hard to remember shortcuts? Make them searchable with a command bar. Getting overrun with twenty of roughly the same article? Funnel it down with actually useful AI. This is the difference between a tool designed for a spec sheet and a product crafted for user experience.

Once you're a Fey customer, you can't live without it. It's one of the few tools in my arsenal that brings me joy every single day. Fey applies world-class design principles to the complex world of investment analysis & news, and as a result, they've made investing approachable for everyone. The Fey team obsesses over every detail, and I mean EVERY detail. They want every interaction, every animation, every chart, every color choice, and more to be completely perfect. As a software engineer myself, Fey is an inspiration and their team should be extremely proud of what they've been able to achieve. One of the great things about Fey is that it pays for itself if it helps you make even 1 good investing decision per year!
