filestar is awesome! i used it for a couple of months now to batch resize images and converting csv files, all by just dropping the files on a desktop shortcut - doesn't get quicker & easier than that!
i didn't use the new recipes function yet but it sounds amazing and will take my automation skills to another level!
founder was very responsive and helpful and implemented some special resizing skills that i needed within a couple of days.
highly recommended tool!

Needed to convert a few thousands of image files in the outdated wmf format to jpg -- could not even find a tool to open them in the first place! Filestar worked like a charm.
FileStar is a perfect product! With FileStar now I'm able to automate my routines - implement the sequence of actions with file (for example: crop image, apply filter, resize then convert it to other format). Also reciept feature was added and it's really fantastic ! Now I'm able to save scenario to xml like file !
Bthw: I also happy to see (as former developer of this products) the evolution of FileStar, it's becoming more and more powerfull tool which is really great ! Two years ago it was a monolith ordinary desktop converter, and now it's modern powerfull but flexible automation tool.
