Here's the story behind it: we ran the numbers on a fairly typical freelance project — $3,000 quote, 80 hours, $40/hour target rate — and found it had a negative net profit once the freelancer's own time was priced in. On paper it looked like a win. In practice, it cost time and paid nothing. That's the gap we built FLEO to close.
