I built FontPreview because I got tired of guessing fonts with client content. Most tools only show "Lorem Ipsum" – useless.

👀 See competitor lookalikes (Airbnb, Vogue, etc.)
📊 Export professional PDF strategy reports

⚖️ Compare system fonts side-by-side
✨ 100+ fancy styles for social media

I built FontPreview because I kept running into the same problem: I'd pick a font that looked beautiful in previews, only to realize it looked terrible with my actual content.
Most font tools show "Lorem Ipsum" or pre-written text. But real client work has real words – with capital letters, punctuation, weird character combinations. You don't know if a font works until you see it with your actual text.
So I built a tool that lets you:
• Type your own text and see it instantly in any font
• Compare Google Fonts with your system fonts side-by-side
• Adjust every variable – size, weight, spacing, color
• Test in dark mode (because half your users will read there)
Everything runs in your browser. Your text never leaves your device – privacy was non-negotiable for me.
The response from the design community has been incredible. Designers are using it for client work, developers are testing variable fonts, and typography enthusiasts are discovering new favorites.
Would love to hear how you test fonts. What's your process? Any features you'd like to see?
Thanks for checking out FontPreview! 🚀

Hi Muhammad 👋
I tested FontPreview today — being able to preview Google + system fonts with real client text instead of Lorem Ipsum is genuinely useful. The side-by-side comparison and dark mode toggle are especially well thought out.
I run paid user-perspective product reviews for early-stage tools, focused on onboarding clarity, activation, and first-use friction.
While using FontPreview, I noticed a few opportunities around feature discoverability and first-time flow that I could package into a concise, actionable audit if that would be helpful.
@olajiggy321 Thank you so much, Agbaje! 😊 Really appreciate you taking the time to test FontPreview and share such thoughtful feedback.
The side-by-side comparison and dark mode toggle were definitely intentional – glad they stood out to you!
I'd absolutely love to hear your insights on the first-time flow and feature discovery. That's exactly the kind of feedback that helps me improve. Feel free to share your thoughts here or DM me – whatever works best.
Thanks again for the kind words and the offer to help! 🚀
