Human intuition is naturally uncalibrated; we tend to rely on gut feelings and binary "right vs. wrong" thinking without a proper feedback loop. I have always been deeply passionate about educating folks on how to truly think probabilistically. Right now, Vegas algorithms process data in milliseconds, meaning the average bettor is essentially bringing a knife to a math fight. How our approach evolved: We originally started out by building predictive machine learning and artificial intelligence models. But we realized that simply handing people automated picks doesn't teach them how to think. Our biggest breakthrough was the development of Brier, our AI Forecast Coach. Instead of a platform where you just make a blind forecast and move on, Brier actually walks you through the forecasting method. We built a complete Socratic loop: Brier guides you from building the forecast using real-time data, to a post-game review mode where you analyze your result, calibrate your confidence, and learn for the next time.
