@ariel_jedrzejczak @j_____________n Yep, it also presents a major accessibility issue for those who need screen readers to use a computer. A great Chrome extension would be one that automatically reports any email using unreadable text like this as spam, because, only spammers do this.

This is just an option that we're providing you, but it sounds like you have a better way? @hunter_trujillo Hey Hunter, You're absolutely right! Accessibility is really important to us. We're heads down on a workaround right now so that screen readers will be able to translate what's being written and it should be live within a week (a beta version will be done by tomorrow!) 😊

@ariel_jedrzejczak @hunter_trujillo @nassaraf I'll try to add some contructive criticism: it's a practice that's been used by spammers and scammers for years now, so my immediate reaction to seeing those is: this is fake / a scam / spam. I believe that you have more open rates, but do they convert? You should not have to resort to tricks for people to open your e-mail. It's like people who think that adding "Urgent" to their e-mail subjects will make me want to open it more, when it's having the exact opposite effect.

@antonio_bologna Oh no! Not our intention at all! It's kind of like emojis being used in the email subject line... some people love it 😻(guess which camp I'm in 😏) , and some don't. To each their own. But please LMK if you have any ideas to help stand out in an email that is more obvious (and preferably more accessible for people across language barriers). We try to release a new Chrome extension at least 2x a month, if not each week when we're on a roll (!!), so you might be the person who gives us the next golden idea! I'm all ears 👂🏽 and my dev team is ready to build! 💪🏽
