We review ~15k applications a year at our investment firm LAUNCH and noticed many of them are at the idea or MVP stage. @jason your tweet about building with AI was encouraging. The website FAQ was quite clear too, the top winners will get $25k for 2% of the company. Following that clarity, I immediately applied. One thing i didn’t find an answer to was the first session is in person, how does that work for founders who’re not in the US?

@orask Having done the course before, I can say that the in-person session at the start isn't mandatory--it's more just a chance for those in SF to get to meet each other. All other sessions are online. The hardest part of doing it when you're not based in the US is having to attend the sessions very early in the morning, but the course is still very much so worth it nonetheless.

My startup was in cohort 5 of Founder University. It was amazing. We got picked as one of the companies to get the $25K investment, and then got into the 30th cohort of the LAUNCH accelerator with a $100K follow-on. The beauty of FounderU is all the amazing tactical advice, the amazing team (Presh & Kelly), and your chance to shine and show what you can do! I recommend it to anyone looking to build a tech startup. What an adventure!

I recently attended Founder University and I must say, week after week my expectations were exceeded. The weekly advice given was always practical, nuanced, and founder focused. It helped me bulk up my bias towards action muscles. I highly recommend it!
