Wildcard (Pre-launch)
have been using it since the first version
Pros:great for when you want to get productive in messaging
so simple, really neatly executed
just works well
Cons:just a wrapper, could have more elaborate (or specific) features
You won't be able to use browser extensions on these web apps in Franz
Pros:A lot of messaging apps in one place
Cons:No browser extensions
Need help, I used the app for 1 month and had no problems. But after reinstalling the OS (High Sierra) and the app, I cannot add multiple accounts(channels).
Pros:Interesting and good design. Many apps are available to add.
Cons:UI tweaks needed and some technical issues still exist. But ignorable

Discovered Franz the first week it went live and have been a fan and evangelist ever since.
Pros:Simplicity, availability of services, Open Source
Cons:Memory usage
Recommended by a friend. It's was the best recommendation I've received
Pros:All in one, collaborative, Open Source
Cons:Memory Usage
This product agregates all the main services of messaging and mail in one clean, easy to use interface.
Pros:All main messaging apps (and not only) in one convenient interface. Also notification when new content appears
Cons:No better alternative today :)
With my friends using all different messengers, Franz is perfect to have all that in one place.
Pros:Cleaner design with the services in the sidebar.
Cons:There might always be that one obscure service missing, but more and more is being added.
