I'm a DJ/producer who also shoots video, does photography, and builds apps + websites.
Most of my projects would require 10 apps to get the right visuals for any of my music, it took forever, and I usually ended up getting stuck with generic assets. FRCTL was the answer to my own problems.
So how's it different from what's already out there?
Live visuals have always meant a pro VJ tool like Resolume, Synesthesia or TouchDesigner. Those are powerful, and I respect them, but they're desktop installs with a real learning curve.
