Hello Hunters! My name is Connor, I'm the Co-Founder of Function Store and I'm excited to present Functions Store on Product Hunt! ⏩ Our Vision To build reliable software 100X faster. 🚀 How It All Started My team and I were working on several different projects. Throughout every new project, I'd grown frustrated by how long it took to implement new functionality to web apps. Our team was equally frustrated, explaining how they had built similar features in the past, however, the code they built wasn't general enough to be reused. Personally, I'm not a developer. I've made a career out of using No-Code/Low-Code tools. However, even with the amazing No-Code/Low-Code tools out there today, there are still some limitations. I found with tools like WordPress or Bubble, they wouldn't scale really well and had other limitations in customization and functionality. Talking with my team of awesome developers, we devised a way to build a solution that would provide the ease of use of a WordPress or Bubble, with the scalability of a custom-built serverless web app. After months of hard work, we are proud to present to you Functions Store as that solution! 🤔 So What Is Functions Store? Functions Store is a marketplace of reusable, expert-built, and well-tested Google Cloud Functions. In our marketplace, you can easily search, configure, and install Cloud Functions on Google Cloud Projects without ever having to write a line of code. In case you need to make some tweaks under the hood, we also provide access to the source code of these cloud functions. Being a marketplace, we also provide an opportunity for developers around the world to generate a new income stream by selling their own Cloud Functions on the marketplace. Finally, we've built some amazing tooling on top of Google Cloud and Firebase to simplify building web apps. 🤓 Who Should Use Functions Store? Developers - Leverage cloud functions for your project as well as sell your own cloud functions on the marketplace. Non-Tech Founders - Jumpstart your web app by easily installing new functionality in a few clicks. When you scale your dev team, they'll have well documented and performing code to build off of. Dev Agencies - Significantly reduce the time needed to implement common features and maintain a private workspace of proprietary functions. Venture Studios / Incubators - Spend less time building and more time capturing feedback from early customers on new ventures.
