Design-wise: The smaller circles don't communicate what the preview image for the game actually is. Way too small, especially for something as visual as a game. Also, circles work for profile photos (faces), whereas rectangles work better for product photos/screenshots/game covers.

IMO, specifying "Consoles" section to Xbox, PS4 etc or "Mobile" to iOS/Android would've been better.

There is no purpose for this. Product Hunt already has a games section.
