This company should be lining up as many IP deals as possible. Like we saw with Pokemon GO, the right IP can take a cool technology global. I'd be even more into this idea if the character were more familiar.
Aside from that opportunity, this is a cool video and makes a believable case for the companion. I wonder what the limits are and how natural the interaction will feel.

I'm surprised no one sees the potential for this beyond the surface. This would be a great product to have if you want to learn a new language, and have a product where you converse in that language with that product to keep the educating going. This also could help fight dementia if done properly.

oof, this is rough. Honestly, I haven't got a massive philosophical problem with the direction of folks forming relationships with AI, but I've got some real questions about the AI's programming. Like.. if you translate the page where you get this product you'll see that this particular character refers to her "husband."
Subtext: This product is for lonely men, only lonely men, and promotes the idea of female subservience

It seems to be better for the elderly market, as if it were a companion and tasks to help the cognitive process
