Reviewers see GeoRankers as a practical AI-visibility tool that emphasizes action over passive reporting. Users say it clearly shows how brands appear across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI answers, highlights which sources and citations matter, and saves time versus manual tracking with a clean, easy setup. One reviewer also prefers it to rivals that felt like SEO tools repackaged for AI. A founder from
Kommunicate similarly says it helped surface concrete action items. Main gaps: deeper historical trends, more integrations, better advanced onboarding, and broader prompt analysis.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Yogesh, founder of GeoRankers.
When we started looking at AI visibility tools, almost all of them were the same shape. A dashboard full of scores, charts, mention counts, sentiment breakdowns. Genuinely a lot of data. But every time I sat with one, I ended up with the same question: okay, so what do I actually do about this? The tools were great at telling you where you stood and completely silent on what to do next. You'd see your score drop, or a competitor pull ahead, and just not have a next step. That gap is what got me.
Here's the thing that made it feel urgent. Buyers are already asking ChatGPT, Google AI Search, and Perplexity what to consider before they ever land on a company's website. And most marketing teams have basically no idea if they're even showing up in those answers, let alone whether they're being recommended, mentioned in passing, or not cited at all.
So I built GeoRankers to close that specific gap. Not just another dashboard, but the whole loop:
See exactly where you show up across ChatGPT, Google AI Search, and Perplexity, and where competitors are beating you
Dig into the actual prompts and sources shaping those answers, not just a number
Get told specifically what to fix
Then retest and see if it actually moved the needle
That last part is honestly the reason I built this. I didn't want another tool that shows you you're losing and leaves you there. 💡
Right now, the focus is B2B SaaS. Marketing, growth, SEO, and product marketing teams who already take organic seriously and are realizing AI search is the next layer of that fight.
Going vertical by vertical is deliberate. Discovery to purchase behavior looks completely different depending on the industry. How a B2B SaaS buyer researches and evaluates a tool is nothing like how an e-commerce shopper or a local services customer moves through AI answers. Trying to model all of that at once would mean shipping something generic. I'd rather get this deeply right for one buying motion before expanding into the next.
Great work @yogesh_builds
Just one question - Why can the same brand be recommended by Perplexity but barely show up in Gemini or ChatGPT? Is it mostly because every AI engine relies on a different set of sources and signals?
@naveen_vinoba Thanks Naveen! And yes - that is a big part of it. Each AI engine has a different way of retrieving information, weighting sources and deciding what is credible or relevant. Perplexity is very citation-led and often leans heavily on fresh & web-accessible sources while ChatGPT and Gemini rely more on a mix of model knowledge, retrieval, entity understanding and broader consistency across the web. Due to this the same brand can look strong in one engine and almost invisible in another because the underlying source mix and ranking logic are different.
I hope that answers you questions. In GeoRankers, we give you model wise view instead of one combined score so you can see where the gap exists and which sources influence each platform - give it a try and do share your feedback! :)
How can I identify which websites and sources are influencing ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Search results?
Great question. In GeoRankers, add your website, target market, and the AI engines you want to monitor. Once an analysis is complete, go to the Sources tab from the sidebar to see the domains and pages cited across your tracked prompts.
For the exact evidence behind a result, open Prompts, expand a topic, and select View under Raw AI Response Logs. You’ll see the captured response for each tracked model along with its cited source links.
What makes GeoRankers different from other AI visibility and AI SEO tracking tools?
@kartik_raghuwanshi Most AI visibility tools are good at monitoring your mentions, share of voice, rankings, citation etc.. While we do that too as well, the bigger focus for us is giving users and understanding why their visibility is weak, what should they change to improve it, and finally and most importantly, once the change has been made, telling whether that change worked or not. We do this by turning the underlying AI responses, competitor gaps, sources and visibility patterns into specific recommendations and then with a signal tracker, you can monitor the expected outcome after taking an action instead of just assuming it helped. That action-to-impact loop is the part we are most focused on differentiating.
Do give it a try and let us know if you found these recommendations helpful. :) Happy to jump on a call to help if needed.
Congrats on the launch @yogesh_builds
Most AI visibility platforms seem dashboard-heavy. How are you thinking about making GeoRankers useful for someone who wants to know what to fix rather than spend time interpreting charts?
@adarsh_kumar34 Exactly!! This is one of the biggest reasons we started building GeoRankers. Conventional SEO tools and now many AI visibility tools keep adding deeper and deeper layers of analytics. While that can be useful, it can also become overwhelming, especially for solo operators who are not deeply exposed to this side of marketing or marketing leaders who are already managing a full stack and do not want to spend hours figuring out what the data means - they need something more actionable.
We currently have a few things in the product moving in that direction -
Trends section helps users quickly understand whether their AI visibility is improving or declining over time with dedicated view into which sources are being cited most across runs, how your URLs are getting picked up by AI models and whether any negative sentiment around your brand is emerging. The idea is to make it easier to spot meaningful changes and patterns without having to interpret every individual run.
Strategic Recommendations turns the underlying data, prompts, competitor gaps, citations and other signals into specific actions to work on.
Signal Tracker then helps monitor whether those actions are actually leading to the expected change.
GEO Agent that gives users a more conversational way to interact with their own data, ask questions, and surface insights without having to dig through every section of the dashboard.
Content Optimizer within Content Hub helps improve content quality by flagging specific passages, assigning severity levels and showing a before-and-after rewrite. Instead of giving users a vague readability or quality score, the idea is to make the guidance much more concrete.
So the direction for us is less about adding more charts for the sake of it and more about helping users move from “what is happening?” to “what should I do next?” to “did it actually work?”
We also plan to go much deeper here especially around recommendation prioritization, explaining why a recommendation matters and making the link between an action and its eventual impact much clearer.
Do give it a try and share your feedback - would love to know what feels useful and where you think we should go deeper. Here's the link to signup - https://dashboard.georankers.co/register
Really happy to see GeoRankers live on Product Hunt today! 🚀
Being part of the team working on this has been a pretty interesting experience, especially because the space itself keeps changing while we’re building for it.
There’s been a lot of learning, testing, rethinking, and improving along the way, and it’s exciting to finally have more people discovering the product.
Would love to hear what you think if you give it a try. Feedback, questions, criticism, all of it is welcome. 🙌
