getlocaltools.com is a collection of 1,520+ browser-based tools — PDF utilities, image converters, text/JSON tools, calculators, and more — that run entirely client-side. Nothing you upload, paste, or type ever touches a server. No sign-up, no ads tracking you, no paywalls. Works offline once loaded. Built solo, still growing — feedback on what to add next is very welcome.

Hey everyone 👋
Maker here. I built getlocaltools.com because I kept running into "free online tool" sites that quietly upload your files to a backend to do the actual processing — which felt like a bad deal if you're working with anything even slightly sensitive.
Every tool on the site runs entirely in your browser (vanilla JS, no frameworks, no backend for the actual tool logic). Your files/data never leave your device.
It's a solo project with 1,520+ tools so far and growing. Would love to hear:
- What tools you wish existed that aren't there yet
- Any bugs you run into
- Anything confusing about the UX
Thanks for checking it out!

One thing I'd love to see is the ability to chain tools together in a single workflow, like piping a PDF conversion straight into an image compressor without having to download and re-upload the file in between. That would really lean into the all-client-side advantage and save a ton of clicks.
