Pretty cool idea! Bitmoji is great, and to add this giftcard-giving functionality is really convenient. Did you need to get their permission? Do they even have an API to hook into? I have no idea how you made it work, but great job!
@teddyespo Thanks! We figured out a way to just allow you to add gift cards to any stickers, mojis, images, memes, etc. So you can just paste in a bitmoji from your bitmoji keyboard or any other sticker keyboard. You can also just paste in any picture or image from the web. Or we also link to your photos so you can upload any of your photos and attach a gift. We also have a few of our own stickers you can use. Or you can also just create a gift card sticker by itself and send it via chat or however you want. The recipient doesn't need to click any links or download an app to redeem the gift card... all the info they need is right on the Giftmoji!
Why do you require both email and phone to sign up? I personally do not care too much to give both. But many users get upset about this practice. So you should think about it.
@bulleitandcoke Thanks will consider removing one. It's mostly for fraud prevention purposes bc there is a lot of fraud associated with digital gift cards.
So this is a product I found through Reddit before Mother's Day. I realized they had something really innovative because before I had seen Giftmoji - aside from the fun aspect of the application - I couldn't think of any or many last second gift options (something I could send digitally to my mom if I forgot a present on Mother's Day).
So the premise of the app is that you can add Gift Cards to images, GIFs, Bitmojis, etc and send them through text so they show up in the user's phone as a gift they have received. The receiver doesn't need to download the app to accept the gift card which I think is a super cool feature.
I'd love to hear what everyone thinks. I reached out to them and invited Harrison Hines the maker to this product hunt.

Saw this app on ProductHunt the other day and just tried it out. Instead of using my bitmoji, I actually texted someone a picture of the two of us with a Dunkin Donuts gift card attached. They absolutely loved it. It took less than a minute to create and send.
