What's great

Because it solves one of the hardest problems in email verification: accurately verifying catch-all email addresses. It gives us reliable, actionable results instead of leaving us with uncertainty, which has helped reduce bounce rates and improve deliverability.

What needs improvement

Giggal.ai already performs well, but there are a few areas that could make it even better. More detailed reporting for catch-all verification, including confidence scores and explanations of why an email address received a specific status, would help users make more informed decisions.

We also considered NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, and Bouncer before choosing Giggal.ai. What's great

Neverbounce was our default until catchall started being 60% of our list. Giggal actually processes catchall properly which fixed the biggest quality gap we had been living with in our verification stack.

What needs improvement

Jsonl export would help since thats what our downstream pipeline uses natively. Currently converting csv which works but adds a step we could skip.

vs Alternatives

NeverBounce

Neverbounce was returning unknown on too much of our list to be useful for real planning. Giggal actually returns real answers which unlocks proper forecasting and campaign planning for the whole team.

What's great

Our fintech signup flow catches disposable and typo emails before they turn into fake accounts we have to run kyc on later. Ops team saved a chunk of time weekly on onboarding work that shouldnt have existed anyway.

What needs improvement

More customization on the api response payload format would help our integration. Currently a bit rigid but nothing blocking day to day work.

vs Alternatives

BounceBan

Bounceban was slower and let more disposable domains through than we wanted. Giggal is tighter on both fronts and the api latency actually fits inside our signup flow without noticeable delay for real users.

What's great

Pay as you go is the freelancer dream. Project volume swings a lot so subscription tools were bleeding me between jobs. Now i top up when a client needs volume and pay zero when i dont have active work.

What needs improvement

A faster processing tier for rush jobs would be a real help sometimes. Clients occasionally need lists turned around fast and 15 min for 10k is tight when the deadline is today.

Emailable monthly subscription made no sense for uneven freelance workload. Giggal paygo model fits the actual shape of freelance client work almost perfectly for how i operate month to month.

What needs improvement

Agency workspace view for managing multiple clients under one login would be a real win. Currently juggling separate accounts per client gets tedious as the roster grows.

What's great

Passive candidate outreach means dealing with corporate emails at big companies. Giggal handles those complex setups where every other verifier i tried just gave up and returned unknown across the board.

What needs improvement

A recruiter workflow specific output template would be nice. We adapt the standard export which works fine but could be a bit cleaner for our specific use case.

NeverBounce couldnt handle corporate email complexity which is basically all our candidate targets in practice. Giggal actually works for the workflow we run every single day so switching made sense.

They market under 3% bounce on cleaned lists. Mine came in at 2.1% on the first batch and around the same on the second batch weeks later. Rare that a verification tool actually hits its own numbers.

What needs improvement

Reason codes on individual results could be more specific. Currently a bit generic which makes categorizing outputs harder for our downstream tooling.

vs Alternatives

Bouncer

Bouncer promised the same but our actual bounces after cleaning were closer to 7% which was useless. Giggal delivered on the number for real which is what actually matters at the end of every campaign.
