GigLoft U is a school for aspiring freelancers. We teach the ins and outs of breaking in, we give our students access to experienced mentors, and the ability to work with any of our dedicated partners to help build a portfolio.
With the workforce quickly becoming a gig economy, individuals need to learn how to freelance and all the tips, tricks, and nuances that come with it. From what I've seen, GigLoft is the first of its kind to equip students with these skills. It's not retraining or making a career change, people can take the skills they already have, add a layer of additional education, and then apply their skills towards freelancing; they don't have to give up what they already have, which I think is just so powerful!
Pros:Fantastic team. Focused on student success.
Cons:Can't think of any right now!
I look forward to testing out their writers as soon as they have some that are interested in tech and cyber security.
Pros:It'll be a great way to find freelancers and for freelancers to learn how to freelance.
Cons:They need more students that specialize in different areas.
The desire to be self sufficient is strong, I like any product that helps people do that
Pros:This info is currently spread out all over and this is a great way to help people become self sufficient
Cons:It's a new category but it's needed
This is the best place for freelancers to build industry knowledge and experience.
Pros:This organization is filled to the brim with people who have expert level experience in their industry.
Cons:The worst part about Gigloft is having too many mentors to choose from. Their skills are so diverse!
