GitHub wrapped is the Spotify wrapped version for devs. 😂😂 I love the simple and intuitive interface, although I feel the graphics and UI could be improved to give us a more smooth feel. Oh yes, I love the music too. 😎

This is excellent and very beautiful, but there's some bugginess on the visuals, at least on firefox. Can share screenshots with you. But the numbers are accurate and again, very pretty.

@uahnbu the entry page declares "Read-only access to your account" but when you go forward it requests "read and write access to commit statuses" and "full access to personal data". Like the design also but am I going to use this? -> NO

Thanks @uahnbu @mika_hanninen! Feel free to take a look at the source code - we request the user and repo:status scopes, which are needed for access to commit statuses without access to code: https://docs.github.com/en/devel.... That said, I'll update the site to clarify.

@tedspare according to the current permission, you can modify the commit date and author at will. To mess with the statistics. Sorry but It don't trust this to actually use it.

This is identity formation via metrics (and I mean that as a compliment).
How do you avoid optimizing for vanity graphs instead of meaningful reflection?
Also: if this shows my commit history publicly I will fake my own death. (Please tell me it won’t.)
