Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Vivek, and I'm incredibly excited to introduce Goofre today. For the past 18 years, my career has been rooted in GTM, Growth, and BD across various tech startups. I've always been a non-developer with an entrepreneurial drive to solve problems at scale, but the technical barrier to building complex products was always a hurdle. Recently, diving into "vibe coding" completely changed the game for me—it finally allowed me to turn my ideas into reality. Goofre is my very first attempt to solve a massive industry problem at scale. Why I built Goofre: Over the last year, I helped a business set up their e-commerce operations and worked alongside a startup building an e-commerce platform with heavy AI automation. Through that experience, I saw the writing on the wall: the advent of UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol) and massive, closed-loop corporate tech stacks will soon bring fierce competition and market saturation. More importantly, I realized the severe impact this shift will have on e-commerce developers. As monolithic platforms automate every function, developers face the very real threat of job displacement. The Solution: That’s exactly why I decided to build Goofre as a completely open-source Agentic Commerce Orchestrator. Instead of replacing developers, Goofre empowers them. It provides the open infrastructure needed to orchestrate AI agents and integrate UCP directly, allowing developers to build and control the future of agentic commerce rather than being locked out by walled gardens.
