Hi, Product Hunt! Let’s get acquainted: we are an ARTWORKADO team and this our first project GooseArt. You may be wondering, how did it start? Nadi, one of the co-creators of GooseArt, would love to share the origin story with you! ‘One year ago, when I was graduating from my University, I was willing to create a project which will help people to let creativity into their lives. And when I became a digital designer, I came up with a concept of a mobile coloring book app, but with a unique twist on it — drawing lessons. That’s how the GooseArt journey has begun. My goal was to create lessons that will teach people how to draw in the app, but will also be easily applied to the paper or canvas. I thought about it a lot and my lightbomb moment had the shape of a… dot. I realized that the most simple yet effective technique of learning how to draw is to connect dots! In GooseArt drawing lessons users can connect dots into a sketch using pencil. Every line in the sketch is designed to be easily replicated on paper if the user wants to practice outside the app. My team created different difficulty settings and added an ability of choice of the pencil grip area. I also kept in mind that everyone needs to feel comfortable while drawing whether they are right- or left-handed, so it is included in settings. I wanted to make the coloring part of the GooseArt as close to the actual painting process as possible. That’s why I designed 15 different categories with different levels of image complexity. An important part of the application was to create tools and colors that would not put users in a box and let them fully express themselves. Every palette and illustration was thought out with care about the quality and usability of the app. Me and my team are especially proud of the tools we have developed. We have: - great variety of brushes with different textured lines - special layers settings which allow to experiment without losing painting progress - opportunity to change the direction of the gradient color And all these tools are free! You may be wondering, why GooseArt? Well, actually the Goose mascot is not only my idea, but my team’s as well. We wanted to create a funny character that will not only reflect the personality of our team, but also will become a great creative friend to the users and will help them in their artistic journey’ Nadi Tarmina, Digital Designer, Co-creator of GooseArt We hope that our project will help other people to relax and learn something new about drawing at the same time. I was looking for an app for my sister and GooseArt is what I needed. Very nice interface and pictures. If you like to draw or color this app is worthy of your attention.

Wow, the Idea is simply marvellous and its free! Especially the drawing lessons!!! I must confess, this is really awesome. Plus it came at the perfect time, just when I needed it!
