groundcover is a K8s application monitoring solution that reinvents the domain with eBPF. Built for modern production environments, it covers everything yet stores only what matters, allowing teams to scale away without worries.
Congrats on the launch! It seems like I've been seeing eBPF K8s tools all over ProductHunt and HackerNews lately. How are you different from the other offerings out there?
@tedcarstensen thanks for the question! groundcover is pushing eBPF to new heights to provide a true APM experience. Unlike some great solution out there that show ebpf is a great source of data, we’re aiming to create out of the box performance metrics, traces logs and K8s infrastructure monitoring that teams expect from a heavy duty APM. Only this time - with zero code changes and a fraction of the cost.
Hey PHs!
I'm Shahar Azulay, CEO & Co-founder of groundcover. Together with @yechezkel_rabinovich and the rest of our awesome team, we have created an APM that redefines cloud-native observability with the use of eBPF.
No engineer would question the importance of solid application monitoring in production. These tools help us sleep better at night, and solve that crazy sh*itstorm when it hits. And it always does.
Application monitoring solutions have taught us that we can have all the data we need to feel covered, all the time. Thing is, these solutions are so hard to integrate and they store so much data that they just can’t scale.
groundcover is here to disrupt the APM market and change the way these solutions work and operate.
Observability should be a tool to help companies scale and thrive. We make it effortless and scalable for developers, so they can focus on what really matters - building world-changing products.
With groundcover you can instantly get:
❇️ Logs from all across your cluster.
❇️ Metrics with mind-blowing granularity such as API latency, error rate, and throughput.
❇️ Traces from protocols like HTTP, gRPC, Redis, Kafka, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and more.
❇️ A map of all service dependencies.
❇️ K8s infrastructure monitoring and tracking of K8s events.
Oh and we’re Prometheus-compatible, so if you’re working in Grafana we’re just a datasource away.
groundcover takes 1 minute to install on even the most heavy-duty K8s clusters.
Try out our free-tier at www.groundcover.com; One day you’ll look back, and say that you were there when APM changed, for good.
Noted for next project with Kubernetes! 😉
btw. I am blown away with your design! Love it!
Tell your frontend team they did a great job!
Well done and congrats on the launch. 🔥
Wow @adamriha thanks for the amazing feedback! will pass it on to the team!
We want to make the vibe of the product not less amazing than the actual dev experience :)
@adamriha Thanks, Adam! Our frontend team is blushing right about now :)
We spent hours thinking how to bring the magic from under the hood to life, so nice of you to notice!
I checked your web-site, it has interesting design. I liked it. However, In my opinion your CTA is not strong enough for index page. For seeing "Start Free" buton, I have to scroll too much. It's just a feedback. Generally, I like your product and good luck with your launch guys!
@huseyin_kara Thank you for your feedback! You mean that it's hard to notice the "start free" on the top right navigation pane and then again below the main header? How would you suggest going about it?
@mor_levy_gaier1 Firstly, I did not even notice your "Start Free" button at navbar. Because There are many things at there. At homepage, there are many div, which has text, but not as much as same div, which has cta.
I might say that there should be only main thing at navbar, such as, homepage, about, etc. I advice that you should add less text ,and you should add more cta for under the text.
