When Apple introduced Accessibility Nutrition Labels in iOS 26, it marked an important milestone. These labels help users know if an app is inclusive - and one guideline that really stood out to me is Differentiate Without Color Alone.
The idea is simple: apps shouldn t rely only on color to convey meaning. Red vs. green might be obvious to some, but for millions of people with color blindness, that distinction disappears.

I’m Bijoy, a solo indie developer and musician from Bengaluru. I’ve been building music apps for over a decade, but Guitar Wiz is by far my most ambitious project. @cruise_chen Chord Assist actually helps you nail chord shapes. It listens note-by-note to make sure you’re getting a crystal-clear sound for the entire chord. When you get the note right, it highlights it green, and shows a tick next to it (for accessibility/differentiate without color alone). If you hit a wrong note, it highlights that fret in red on the diagram - so you instantly know where to adjust.

Also, I want to show you something cool Guitar Wiz can do - you can just Google 'Oasis – Slide Away chords', open any website with the chords, and use the Song Sheet Scanner in the app. It will instantly detect all the chords from the page and even let you strum-preview them by tapping on the highlighted boxes. I just tried it out myself for this song, check it out!

@aditluhadia Yes! I do plan to release it for Android as well. Since I’ve written the app entirely in native iOS code, I’ll need to rewrite it for Android, so it’s going to take some time - but it’s definitely on my roadmap.
