Habit Hero turns habit building into an RPG. Instead of relying on streaks or guilt, every completed habit earns XP, coins, and collectible powers that you arrange on your own strategy grid to unlock unique combinations and bonuses. Choose a hero class, complete daily quests, customize your sanctuary, and watch your character grow alongside your real-life progress. Inspired by the idea that small daily actions lead to remarkable results, Habit Hero rewards consistency not perfection.

Hey everyone! 👋
I'm excited to finally share Habit Hero.
I built it because I could never stick with traditional habit trackers. They often felt like checklists, and missing one day made it feel like all my progress was gone.
Habit Hero takes a different approach. Your real-life habits become quests that help your hero grow. Complete habits to earn XP, collect powers like 💪 Strength and 🧠 Wisdom, discover combinations on your power grid, and customize your own sanctuary. There's no punishment for missing a day it's about rewarding consistency rather than perfection.
The app is inspired by the idea that small daily improvements compound into meaningful change, and I wanted to make that process feel genuinely fun.
I'd love to hear your honest feedback:
* Is the concept something you'd use?
* What feature would make you come back every day?
* Is there anything that feels confusing or unnecessary?
I'll be around all day to answer questions and would really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks for checking it out!

Curious how the strategy grid actually plays into habit completion, like is it just cosmetic or do the combos you set up meaningfully change what you earn day to day?

@mevlthyusukb7g Great question...The goal is for the strategy grid to be much more than decoration. Different power combinations unlock passive bonuses that affect your progression. For example, one combination might increase the XP you earn from fitness habits, while another could boost the coins you earn from reading or creative tasks. I want players to experiment with different builds rather than having a single "best" setup.

Curious how the strategy grid works in practice, are the powers just cosmetic or do they actually change what XP or coin multipliers you get from completing habits?

@azratlfoqf They definitely aren't just cosmetic. Each power represents a part of your growth, and combining compatible powers creates new abilities with passive bonuses. Those combinations can change how much XP or coins you earn from certain habits, so choosing how to build your hero becomes part of the strategy instead of just customization.

How does the strategy grid actually work in practice — do the powers combo automatically once I place them, or do I need to unlock them in a specific order to trigger the bonuses?

@hamdiderinwvuu When compatible powers are stacked on top of each other, they fuse into a stronger power. there is a list of compatible powers on the right of the grid. Thanks for the comment!

The RPG framing actually made me want to open the app again, especially arranging powers on the strategy grid. Small thing but it felt more like a game than a chore tracker.

@gler63kh I really appreciate that! That was exactly the feeling I was aiming for. I wanted opening the app to feel like checking on a character you've been building rather than ticking off another to-do list. Thanks for the feedback!

the strategy grid for arranging earned powers is such a clever hook, way more interesting than another streak counter. the rpg framing actually makes me want to open it every day.

@leventkucauyxk Thank you! I wanted to move away from the idea that habit tracking is just maintaining a streak. The strategy grid gives you something to experiment with and personalize, so your progress feels unique instead of just being another number. I'm excited to keep expanding that system with more powers and combinations.
