Hey product hunt!
I love learning languages, and the thing I struggle the most is speaking. Speaking a new language is difficult because:
The person you speak to does not have infinite patience.
The person you speak to does not talk the language you do (you don't have a backup).
The person you speak to does not give you vocabulary and form recommendations after every conversation.
But Nacho (hablo.pro's mascot) does!! I did it trying to solve a problem that I face and I really hope it helps you speak a bit more fluently.
Trying it out is free (you get 10 mins of conversation) and if you like it you can either subscribe or pay as you go.
This is my first launch! So exited!! And especially looking for feedback! The product is super simple but I believe it has a ton of potential to improve!

Loving the conversational vibe with Nacho it feels so much better than typing responses or using flashcards. does Hablo.pro track long-term progress across sessions, like fluency over time or specific pronunciation improvements?

I'm learning spanish right now, and this is exactly what I need. The AI is surprisingly great at not only holding, but leading a conversation, which is especially impressive considering my poor Spanish. Great work Manuel, will definitely be incorporating this into my language learning habits!
Would be awesome if it would learn my weak spots and push me towards those areas in the next conversation.

Wow, the experience with this one is great! Amazingly finished feel to the product end-to-end. My Spanish sucks but is advanced enough for basic conversation, but I don't have anyone to practice with, and I've dreamed about this product for a while now. The summaries at the end are very thorough (I love that it corrects better ways of phrasing things), and the experience feels very real as you're conversing. 10/10

@manuel_cardenas1 My main use case is improving my Spanish, although I'm planning on going to China by year's end and am considering attempting to learn some Chinese basics by then too. Impressed at the language support offered by the site!

Interesting approach to language learning - esp the recap and tips. Does the next session remember this and perhaps test you if you were able to learn?

Trufflow
Duolingo just doesn't cut it anymore. Sometimes Duolingo has awkward sentences that just aren't used in natural language. How does Hablo tackle this challenge?

@lienchueh haha yes this is true of Duolingo :)
here you just have a normal conversation. LLMs are quite good at starting one with simple day to day topics that simulate a real world conversation :)

Any chance you will integrate it with Mentra smart glasses? It would be great to have an AR overlay in the real word of words I am trying to learn.
