Nice one! Looks very sleek! 🙌🏻
I've recently made a simple Hair Diary web app for my wife (she is a true hair maniac, ha-ha 😅):
https://hey.hair
I am curious to see how you will evolve the Hair Diary/Journal aspect of your app.
Best of luck in your hair-y endeavours! 😉
@_mihhail hi Mihhail, thank you for your comment! Would love to check out your product. Actually, hair diary will be a new feature we would like to work on. We've started just with adding a text note. But we also plan to implement the possibility to add hair photos, hair products, and hair parameters (length, colour, etc). And what feature your wife has asked for?
@alexandra_shiliagova1 Thank you for the reply, Alexandra!
Basically, she wanted a really simple way to track what products and/or their combinations (bundles) have had a positive effect on her hair. She didn't need anything fancy, like images or hair parameters. Just a system that would keep track of the things she had tried, and organize them into a ranked list. So that's what hey.hair does: you write down what you've used, give likes to the products, star the whole bundle, and, with time, you'll get a nice Top, where all the things, that have worked for you are shown first.
That said, she is just one person, and it's hard to say whether a lot of people need the same thing, that hey.hair offers. So I am curious to see what you will come up with, and what aspects of the Hair Diary your users will find useful.
Dear friends, please take a moment to vote for the features you think could be potentially valuable for our app. Please share your thoughts and feedback

Hi! Nice app :) By the way, how did you conduct user interviews? What platform did you use?
@yury_rudnitski hi, thanks for your question! We used Instagram for this purpose. Instagram is a powerful platform where you can find lots of hidden communities. All the interviews were arranged through our App Instagram account. We're simply chasing "hair-related" accounts, building the community around them and keep asking the questions.
To be honest, Insta accounts of hair maniacs who create hair health marathons, and sell hair guides are our main competitors
@yury_rudnitski I have user interviews in my hair salon. My clients are our application users so we communicate a lot!

@yury_rudnitski@katsiaryna_shushkova A lot of people lack a systematic way to take care of themselves, but in life of course, if you solve this problem and make a grooming calendar, that's really cool!
@yury_rudnitski@katsiaryna_shushkova@ksenijaluskina that’s the intention. It’s hard but really rewarding as lots of people have hair problems but are simply lost in the hair care aisle at the shop. It’s a never-ending story to actually understand your hair and scalp needs. Thanks for your feedback! Means a lot
@yury_rudnitski@ksenijaluskina yes, the idea is to have a calendar and follow the plan. But we need to motivate people. Not everyone understands it's a long journey. Alexandra spent three years regrow her bleached blonde...

Great product! Is it possible to use it with men's hair?
@aleksey_shlykov thanks a lot for your feedback. Honestly, the intention was to create the app to help women but after some time we got convinced that we should think more global and it’ll be nice to create special programs to deal with men’s hair health. By the way, what men would be more interested in? Hair loss or may be beard growth 🧔♂️?Thoughts there?

@alexandra_shiliagova1 I vote for preventing hair loss in the first place :) You just can't imagine how many of my friends struggle from this problem.
@pavsad yes, it’s something we should think about. Currently, we’re engaging with Scandinavian bio labs - it’s a Dutch company that produces hair growth products. We want to create hair growth plans together. Hope it’ll be helpful. However, realistically, it’s a niche we need to dive into :)
Thanks for your comment
@marynotj exactly :) that's one of our intentions as well: make professional hair care equally accessible for everyone. But to be honest, our bad is that we didn't consider hair loss from a men's standpoint. So all these comments are actually very helpful

I've been waiting for this app all my life. Thanks!
@alina_yakovleva1 dear Alina, that means a lot, thank you. Which features would like us to focus on? What could be potentially valuable? Would love to hear your thoughts
@mark_prutskiy hey Mark, thanks a lot for you interest! Your personal hair care plan is a list of tasks and routines you need to accomplish on a daily basis. Every day you advance in your hair care journey and it’s a process…
The majority of the tasks are related to wash day routines so you’ll theoretically you’ll go back to HairCare App if not every day then on your wash days
Plus we share hair care insights twice or even thrice a week - you’ll get notifications, just stay tuned
One more feature that will definitely engage the user is hair journal. Every day you can add a note to your plan. Have you tried a new shampoo? What to add a DIY? You can capture it in your calendar. That’s a feature our user have been craving for. We’ll add an ability to capture the pictures of the hair and products in the next versions
We have lots of features planed. One of them is product ingredients scanner. You scan the product and the app tells you if it’s good or not for you according to your hair and scalp profile!
Love your question ♥️
By the way, some metrics to share: our 30th day retention is 17%. We’re targeting 20% +
