Self-hosting is great but a one-click Fly.io or Railway template would save me a ton of setup time. Also would love to see a GitHub Action that auto-uploads schemas on merge so CI stays clean.
Spun it up locally and the self-hosted setup was honestly painless, took like five minutes. The schema versioning feels solid and the CLI is straightforward, basically exactly what I wanted from a buf alternative without the cloud dependency.
The self-hosted angle is such a refreshing call here, no telemetry, no surprise pricing tiers, just a clean registry you actually own. Love that it slots into existing workflows instead of forcing a whole new toolchain.
