Hi PH Community - thank you for upvoting us! We're on a mission to empower anyone to be a philanthropist. Today, we give all over the internet on many platforms. And that leaves us without a comprehensive view of our giving. There's no purpose-built solution for individual donors! We're changing that and we're starting with two features: (1) Managing giving to multiple nonprofits easily in a single transaction. Find any nonprofit, add them to a portfolio, allocate your support, and give. (2) Helping donors never lose a donation receipt again. With recent legislation allowing for a $300 tax deduction per person for donations even without itemizing, Hedado will have you ready to claim your $$$! Curious what's next on your roadmap? I want to donate to charity more, but nothing's quite clicked wrt convincing me on the best place to spend $$.

@yoyothesheep Hi Yu! One thing on our roadmap to help with this is improved curation of nonprofits, including by experts in the space. So you know you'll find a great place to donate and have confidence in it. Another thing on our roadmap is to start showing donors where they benchmark to others that are giving. Right now, when we give, we don't know if it's a lot or a little or if we should be doing more. We can fix that. And finally, we're going to look to partners to help donors get better matching and make their dollars go further.

@farokh_shahabi Hi Farokh - We actually do allow for this. On our search page, you can find over 1.5M nonprofits. That said, if by mechanism you mean a way to find these more easily by topic/size, then that is something we'll be working on. Please let us know if you have a specific idea - we are all ears!

@vtellis Awesome! Yes exactly. Let me know if I can contribute in any way. Main issue that I see everywhere is that some organizations need urgent help in a short period of times while others that are much more well known, they receive donations all the time. It would be great if people had a way of knowing what cause needs urgent help.

Tried out Hedado a few months ago. Happy to report that it makes philanthropic giving much easier. I now have a view of my giving history (versus searching through my email to look up where and how much I’ve donated), which will help save time come tax season. I’ve also established a portfolio of nonprofits and set up a monthly donations to each of them. Finding and discovering nonprofits - easy. Allocating my funds across the portfolio - easy. Getting notified that my donation has been processed - awesome. We all have causes that we care about and want to support. Hedado simply makes it easier. No minimum amount. No maximum amount. Hedado helps makes giving easier and more fun.

I’ve been lucky enough to be an early tester of this, and it really helps fill a hole for me in my giving plans. Specifically, it makes it a lot easier to take a comprehensive portfolio approach and divvy up the amount I give on a regular basis easily across different charities. I really like that approach, and have been really happy with it so far. Tax time, or at least this part of taxes, is going to be a breeze this year thanks to this. More importantly though, it helps me take a higher level approach to the impact I can make through donations, and it’s executed very well — I was really impressed at how well I was able to construct my portfolio, even including the extremely obscure local nonprofits I donate to.
