What's great

WOW! Best remote support software out there. I have been using it for a very long time after trying the very expensive market leaders like AnyDesk and TeamViewer... too expensive!
Helpwire is secure, fast, and has a generous free option too - No nag screens. Commercial use allowed. Amazing.
Thank you Helpwire thinking about the small guy too not able to afford the expensive tools out there. You are the best.

What needs improvement

Keep going Helpwire. You are doing great.

vs Alternatives

TeamViewer AnyDesk

Best price. Best value for money of you take paid options. Great and stable software - even over slower connections I could help my clients.

What's great

As a lifelong Windows guy who bought a Mac last year, I went on a serious hunt for remote control software that actually works well on macOS. Most options I tried were a struggle, but HelpWire has been an absolute breath of fresh air. I’ve been using it for nearly a year to seamlessly access my Mac and Windows PCs spread across different floors of the house. As a retired IT professional, I highly appreciate how straightforward it is to set up, the flawless unattended remote access, and their fantastic free plan for personal use and helping out family.

What needs improvement

I wish that navigating with the "original size" screen scaling option was a bit smoother to navigate, but that is a minor quibble.

HelpWire offers a genuinely free plan for individuals with zero pop-ups, time limits, or commercial use nags. It was built to bridge the cross-platform gap cleanly. It handles macOS privacy permissions smoothly during setup and just works!

What's great

I have used helpwire for some time now and it has never failed me. I get easy connects to family and friends and I get to fix whatever their problems are. Great product.

What needs improvement

Don't change a thing. It works very well.

vs Alternatives

I chose Helpwire as I had encounter a lot of issue with other tools. They dropped connection and their prices were way to high for me to be able to justify the cost.

What's great

HelpWire is simply the best remote software I've used. I've used remote software for 25 years to keep track of and monitor the equipment that I've built. It's fast to deploy. It's reliable. The connections are solid and don't flake out. It's just awesome.

What needs improvement

I would love it if you could talk with the people on the other end at the same time.

I've been using HelpWire for 2-3 years now and it is as good if not better than LogMeIn and Splashtop which I used previously.
