I love this trilogy – thanks for posting @ems_hodge. I first read each book as they were released. I remember the frustration as a 9-year-old: "What, it's the first in a trilogy and he hasn't written the other ones yet?!" They were mind-expanding to read as a kid and I've also found them to be rewarding as an adult too. It's the only series I go back to periodically (I think I've read them all three times) and I can imagine reading them once a decade forever!
