Hivemark helps you identify notable profiles on Twitter and know who you interact with. It can help you: - Discover like-minded users - Identify fake/parody accounts - Improve your DM experience
Hi, I’m Maciek, the founder of Hive.one.
It's hard to know who you can trust online these days. At Hive.one, we are working on solving that problem — we analyze Twitter’s social graph and organize accounts into communities. We also rank each account based on its influence on a community.
Hivemark, our browser extension, shows these communities and ranks right inside Twitter's Web app. You can see communities and rank information on your timeline, suggested accounts, profiles, and direct messages.
Hivemark can help you:
- Discover and connect with like-minded people
- Identify fake/parody accounts
- Improve your DM experience
Feel free to share any questions or suggestions in replies or at @hivedotone on Twitter.
@hivedotone@dreddy We are not competing with Twitter; to the contrary, so I hope they won't cut us off. Regarding the API pricing – we're waiting for news on the new pricing like everyone else.

@hivedotone@macieklaskus Just an update looks very promising. Gives you insight of all the underrated communities, new content that you can create, synergies of the content. Very great tool.
As a user I was able to find my twitter profile in hive.one. Is it possible to enrich my profile in hive.one (via adding my personal website, other social media accounts etc.)?
@atanizamoglu Thanks for the feedback. This is definitely functionality we have been thinking about. We'll adding a small subset of this in next couple of sprints by allowing people to login with other social platforms so that we have a validated connection other platforms a user is on. As for adding personal website, we'll think perhaps using DNS TXT verification to enable that. It would be important to handle this in a way that it's verified so that people can only attach identities, websites and works that they have authentically done.
Congrats on the launch and already having the #7 spot! Was there a lot of wrenches thrown in your plans while building this with all the changes going on at Twitter?
@carter_barnett So far, not much has changed on the API side for us. Our product doesn't compete with anything Twitter does so we weren't targeted by the Twitter client ban. In future however we are expecting some changes so fingers crossed. :)

I appreciate that Hivemark can help me improve my DM experience on Twitter, but I'm curious to know how it accomplishes this. Can you provide more information on the features and functionality offered by the platform?
This sounds like a great tool for anyone looking to build a targeted following on Twitter. Can you provide more information on how Hivemark identifies notable profiles?
@ashu_singh12 it's primarily done through graph analyses (we look at who follows whom etc.)

As someone who spends a lot of time on Twitter, I'm always looking for ways to improve my experience. Can you tell me more about how Hivemark can help me identify fake/parody accounts?
@rohit_singh36 Hivemark shows you rank of users next to the handle on Twitter, lower the rank the more prominent is the user. Fake/Parody accounts are unlikely to have any rank or communities

I'm interested in using Hivemark to discover like-minded users on Twitter. Can you tell me more about how the platform analyzes user interactions and identifies common interests?
@divesh_gupta2 If you're a hive.one user and have bookmarked communities in your account, Hivemark can tell you which users have similar communities as yours through a orange dot. This can help you discover users of your interest in your timeline :)
