Traditional cold outreach is a time-consuming, expensive, inefficient, and frustrating way to connect with strangers. Pitching your news to journalists, services to clients, and your company to investors eat your soul alive and is No1 reason for founders' burnouts. How do we know it? Spent 20 years in strategic communications and built three tech startups.
We bet you know that silence is torture, but people on receiving side struggle, too. They get tons of irrelevant, poorly written emails with misspelled names and endless follow-ups sent by mailing bots.
This pain ends today. Please welcome the House of Pitch, an app to send, receive, and process cold pitches in the form of pitch cards.
How it works:
• Create a pitch card in a minute: write a headline (100 characters) and give important details in a pitch body (250 characters)
• Chose relevant recipients from our list -- just one or a group
• Send!
If your pitch is accepted, the app will connect you with the recipient in the email.
If your pitch is rejected, you'll get a notification that the pitch was not a good fit.
House of Pitch is available in open alpha. We have already processed 1000 pitch cards from real companies. Every third pitch gets a Yes! It makes HoP 30 times more efficient than cold emailing.
Soon, our AI algorithm will automatically route your pitches to relevant recipients for a better acceptance chance. It will analyze previous actions on the platform and the card content, allowing and restrictive tags, acceptance rates, and other data to land your pitch perfectly.

I have been using HoP for a while now and, speaking as a journo, it's been refreshing to get pitched this way. Not only does it help the sender get to the crux of their message, if it's relevant it's fast and easy to get in touch with the source.

In our big vision, there's no unwanted or irrelevant messaging, but also no silence in reply. We also believe that your attention should be rewarded, and working on creating a fair incentive mechanism for HoP users.
@kirill_manaenkov Cold outreach market is $150B, including PR and direct marketing. But if we succeed in building a B2B sales vertical, it's ten times that.

A couple of things from a startup co-founder that will be great to improve in the general web version, because I used it only.
- relevance matching after filling profile, according to my industries (future of work, HR tech) and traction ($1mln ARR) or maybe type of request
- basic searching by recipients using keywords or tags
- Google or LinkedIn authorization
- recipients' profiles before sending a pitch
