Hypermonkey is a gamified productivity app designed specifically for ADHDers by combining evidence-based strategies to improve their executive function and help them focus, plan, and follow through in a way that actually feels doable and fun. Let's get more sh*t done with us!

Hey Product Hunters! π
This is Jon :') About a year ago, I built a productivity app for my friends who were struggling to stay productive due to their ADHD. Even though this was made with ADHD in mind, I thought it could potentially help anyone who is trying to be productive as well!
Hypermonkey is a gamified productivity app designed specifically for ADHDers by combining evidence-based strategies to improve their executive function and help them focus, plan, and follow through in a way that actually feels doable and fun:
π Data Privacy: No sign-ups or sign-ins needed. All your data belongs to you and stays on your phone.
β¨ Smart Task Assists + NLP: Type what's on your mind, and we can break down the tasks into small, actionable subtasks, prioritize them, or give you task suggestions if you don't know where to start.
π€ Voice-to-Task: Use your voice to add/edit/delete any tasks.
π Pomodoro: Stay productive using the Pomodoro technique β work for focused 25-minute intervals followed by short and long breaks.
π§ Zen Mode: Start a stopwatch and focus on your tasks. Don't worry about the time, just get into your flow state.
π¬ Yap Zone: We know a lot is going on in your brain all the time, that's why we've created the "yap zone"! Brain-dump all your thoughts, and we'll help you organize them into tasks.
π₯ Habits Tracker: Build routines that actually stick. Small, steady wins β one habit at a time.
π€ Personalized Nudges: Get gentle, personalized reminders to keep you on track.
β Reminders, Todoist, & TickTick Integration: Import your existing reminders from your device or other tools seamlessly into Hypermonkey.
π Dashboard: Track your productivity patterns, task completion rate, etc. and see how much progress youβve made over time. Understand more about your dominant ADHD productivity monkeys and how they affect you.
π Daily Banana: Earn a daily banana by engaging with us and reward yourself with some stickers of our mascots with your hard-earned bananas!
Also, if you're interested in learning about your dominant ADHD productivity monkey, check out this fun little quiz I've put together! π
In the future, I plan to integrate Hypermonkey with more tools to make completing tasks a second nature and make Hypermonkey available on macOS. I'm also active on Discord, sharing updates and getting feedback from users here. Would love to hear your feedback and hope that you check it out!
Thanks y'all! β€οΈπ»
Really like this concept.
Many productivity apps are designed for βdisciplinedβ users, but ADHD brains work differently. Turning tasks into something visual and gamified feels like a smart approach, rather than forcing a traditional to-do system.
The banana rewards and monkey theme make it feel light and less intimidating, which is important for consistency. The progress tracking screen also looks clean and simple, not overwhelming.
One thing Iβd be curious about is how you handle long-term engagement. Gamification works well early on, but retention usually depends on how deeply it adapts to each userβs patterns. It would be interesting to see personalized task breakdowns or focus suggestions based on behavior over time.
Overall, strong positioning and a clear audience.
@sujal_thakerΒ thank you! :D Overall, from what I've heard from users so far, they would like the app to be gamified, but not heavily in the traditional sense. For example, one user suggested that the gamification element of the app could be buying items for the monkeys, which could drive engagement every day. On the topic of adapting the user experience based on the users' behaviors, I totally agree that it will enhance the overall experience for the users! That's actually one of the areas I'm planning to improve with Hypermonkey in the future. Your idea for focus session suggestions based on behavior is pretty interesting. I'll look into it!
