Thanks @rrhoover . iam.dj is not just a music platform, it's a platform to connect the Electronic Music World, the fastest growing mainstream genre in the world because the social medias are a natural marketing platforms, however "the sector remains absolutely fragmented”.
iam.dj includes not only audio tracks, but full DJ-sets, live events, and the hottest and most recent trends of DJs, the new rock stars, all in one spot.

@andreasklinger thanks for the suggestions, both features are planned to be in our next release. Respect ;)
Interesting platform. The lack of ongoing streaming makes it simply another social profile destination at the moment so that feature's make or break for me.
And I'm not sure if you're aiming to introduce listeners to electronic music/artists, or even expand horizons for people who have a few favorite DJs, but if so the onboarding flow has too much friction. I know a lot of music lovers who couldn't name 10 DJs, and even I had a hard time recognizing 10 names without searching. People are touchy about what their music taste says about them and (IMO) unlikely to "Respect" someone they know nothing about.
Even a simple way to play a snippet of a DJs song would help people pick 10 and move on quickly.
interested to see where the product goes!
I agree w/ @dshan. The onboarding flow is a bit heavy and certainly appeals to the electronic music fan (cc'ing my buddy, @kellymcgrath).
To Derek's point, it would be rad if I could quickly listen to the DJ's music as I'm "respecting" them. Perhaps you could borrow something from @TheKaranGoel's Soundcloud Instant.
@rrhoover that is a dope idea.
I agree with everyone else on the continuos play and filtering between mixes and songs, which I've already asked for some time ago.
Otherwise, I've been a big fan of it for quite a while, given the super impressive design and the passion they put into it.
Sounds like it might be a tough monetization strategy. I would also like an autoplay and ability to sort by set vs songs.
I think backplane has an interesting approach to helping fans connect to artists.
Good luck!
