G'day Product Hunt community. Saba writing in from Denver, Colorado - although fun fact: I am originally from Melbourne, Australia. 🐨 So hello to my fellow Aussies! I am so excited to show you Idea Validator (IV for short). Ironically, it is a tool my best friend (@jnarowski) and I came up with one weekend when we realized that there are a lot of tools to build stuff - but not many to validate them. Especially not all-in-one tools that let you brainstorm, capture the fundamentals, and have a place to store all your early customer conversations. Because you know, asking your mum or bestie isn't really the validation that will get you funding... or is it?! Building and seeing if people like them is definitely a fine strategy, but for those who can't just build, or find it an expensive undertaking, there has to be another way to garner some traction right? Hence, IV! FEATURES: ✍️ A canvas to fill out the essentials: problem, solution, unfair advantage, proposed customer segments. 📈 Integrations with tools to give you beautiful, yet functional, recommended market research tasks such as trend and competitive analysis. ⚡️ Our proprietary Customer Discovery workspace where you’ll add the transcripts/notes of the conversations you have. 😍 IV is so easy to use, it will literally give you a score and recommendation at the end letting you know whether to build it or not. This is great. Loving the onboarding checklists with great information along the way. Super smart to keep users on a progressive onboarding path! The dashboard visuals are also on point.

Hi and congratulations on your launch. I have created an account + a project. Now it looks like I have to invest some of my time filling up that form which I will do :D but I am lazy :p The best thing I like in your app is "Templates". I love fillling templates rather than writing random. One suggestion, it would be great if you could provide an example of some prefilled projects that I can browse before starting my own project. May be an idea of social app or shopping cart etc. This will definitely improve user interest when they will see what they're going to get after filling up all the forms.

@naveed_rehman, indeed it takes some effort on your part. RE: Pre-filled projects: As you’d expect we used IV for our own user validation so I have that one I could share. Will just need to remove any personal identifying info on the interviewees. Thanks for the great idea.

thanks. you can also think of providing pre-filled forms for some high-level common ideas such as social networking site, job searching site etc. so lets say if i am thinking about making another job site, i kl start with the provided pre filled template, modify it as per my idea and... here i go! think of ms excel fir example. if i need to make an invoice, rather than starting from scratch, i ll just select the invoice template which is prefilled with pretty much all standard fields that an invoice should have. it will greatly reduce the bounce rate.
