👋 Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Erdinc, the founder of iftrue - thanks so much for checking us out today.
A bit about us: firstly, we didn’t start as a Slack bot. iftrue began as a dashboard - a platform to help engineering teams improve by combining engineering metrics with real human feedback. But the more we worked with teams, the clearer it became: managers don’t need another tool. They need answers, fast, right where they’re already working. So we brought iftrue into Slack. And it just clicked!
At its heart, iftrue is built on a simple belief: great software comes from healthy, productive teams. We’re here to help you understand how your team’s really doing - with instant, credible insights - without guesswork or busywork.
📌 Here’s what you can do with iftrue:
Ask questions like “Who’s blocked?” or “What’s Mark working on today?”
Run daily check-ins, and get smart summaries for your team, and tailored insights for you
Pull in data from tools like GitHub and Jira to give real signal
Use it to prep for 1:1s, retros, and make sprint reviews smoother
🎁 We’re offering an exclusive 20% discount for early Product Hunt users with PH2025 discount code. Includes 7-day free trial - no card required.
👇 FAQ
Q: Who is it for?
If you’re an engineering manager (or a founder managing engineers), this is for you!
Q: How is it different from other bots?
Most bots just regurgitate status updates. iftrue analyzes your team’s data to give you real visibility and surface the insights that matter.
Q: What’s coming next?
We’re expanding to more tools (Linear, Notion), adding custom dashboards, and rolling out alerting for emerging team risks.
We’d love your feedback, questions, and thoughts - we’re around all day in the comments!

@erdincakkaya This seems interesting.
Huge congrats on the launch @erdincakkaya ! 🚀
Iftrue is honestly one of the best engineering management copilots I've ever used. Whether you're a fast-moving startup or an enterprise, it brings the right level of insight, tools and reports to keep engineering orgs aligned and productive. Covers everything you'll need.
Well done to the team! 👏
@erdincakkaya @fkadev Thank you so much for the kind words and support! 🙌 It means a lot to hear that iftrue is making a real impact.
@erdincakkaya @fkadev That means a lot, thank you! We’ve worked hard to make iftrue useful across different team sizes. Really appreciate the support!
@erdincakkaya @fkadev Thanks for the kind words! It's awesome to hear from someone who's actually used it and sees the value. Your support means a lot! 🚀🚀
Just try building a large scale saas product with a distributed dev team, you'll discover you need this on day one. Congratulations on your launch @erdincakkaya !
@erdincakkaya @rcpktk Exactly! That's the reality we built iftrue for - moving fast, staying aligned and not getting lost in the chaos. Thanks Recep!
@erdincakkaya @rcpktk You're absolutely right about day one needs! Distributed teams especially feel this pain. Thanks for the support! 🚀
🚀 Congrats on the launch! @erdincakkaya I always love asking founders this: What’s the most exciting or unique feature of your product that you’re most proud of? Would love to hear what sets it apart!
@berkebasaraner Thanks for coming up with this question,
While most tools just aggregate data - iftrue gives you answers.
While other platforms requires searching through dashboards, or manually interpret metrics, iftrue lives in Slack and speaks your language.
Ask questions like “Who’s blocked?” or “How’s the sprint going?” and get tailored, actionable insights - backed by real team data and DevEx best practices.
With tools like ours, integrating lots of different tools from different providers, the #1 problem for the users is to match different accounts of different platforms, in iftrue, its automatic and all the provider data we collected gathered under one profile which saves huge amount of time.
Another thing I would like to highlight is, AI usage. We are in the market as consultants for a long time and our daily work is always been working with the engineering teams. I believe we implemented our knowledge successfully to our AI models to work like a real engineering manager and create value to our customers.
@erdincakkaya @berkebasaraner Thank you! Love that question.
As a non-technical founder, I’m most excited about how iftrue makes it easy to understand what’s going on in technical teams, without having to dig through tools or make sense of metrics I'm not familiar with.
The bot translates everything and delivers the right info straight to me, in plain language. It’s like having clarity on demand.
I’m especially excited for iftrue to empower other non-technical managers to lead with confidence - where, until now, a lack of visibility or technical understanding might have felt like a barrier to effective leadership.
@pulkitgarg Thank you! That’s a great question. Right now, we integrate with a few core tools like GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Jira, but the next phase for us is expanding to more task management platforms to make iftrue even more connected across different workflows. Stay tuned, it’s coming soon!
@pulkitgarg Hey Pulkit, we have Linear on the way, Asana and Trello will be the next! Thanks for asking.
@mihriminaz Love your description - that's exactly what we are aiming for! So glad it's delivering value. Appreciate your support!
@mihriminaz Thanks so much for the encouragement! That’s exactly what we’re aiming for, to be a reliable 24/7 partner for engineering teams right inside Slack.
This sounds like a good tool for a large team. Love the concept! Congrats on the launch @erdincakkaya @fabhak @melihkizmaz @odul_kaya
@erdincakkaya @melihkizmaz @odul_kaya @lakshya_singh Thanks so much Lakshya!
It definitely shines with larger teams, but we also love seeing smaller teams get a lot out of the bot too!
