I have been following the designs on Dribbble, I am happy to finally see it in store. I am serious about working out and always trying to push myself further in the gym. Congratulations to everyone who has worked on this product. Now, if only I had an IPhone -_-
There's a definite need here...I've tried a few other workout apps and usually end up reverting back to logging them in Notes due to bad UI and not enough flexibility. Can't wait to try this with my next workout!
By far the best app on the store for tracking workouts. I've tried several. Was using pen and paper and going to go back to mobile using this. One issue though - took a while to understand "start" page and some buttons should look more like buttons - e.g. The "set" next to the time. Thought that was the same as a 'set'. The views also need to be customized when jumping between them. E.g. Some buttons on the select workout view should be hidden when I'm just s letting a workout - e.g. The create button. Hope this helps.
@leonephraim Great UI, large type and intense colors. Very fit for the gym context, and very usable while "in the zone."
I do feel the interaction is a bit "stiff." Though many newcommers to weight training do go to the gym with a premeditated workout routine and stick to it, an experienced lifter often improvises and adds an exercise here or does additional sets of another. I would suggest you give the UX more flexibility / versatility so that a lifter can improvise and rearrange / combine / remove / add exercises and sets while they're in the gym.
I understand this was built around keeping track of consistent, clear-cut workouts, but in the end, weight training is about gaining strength with each individual exercise, not mastering a particular workout.
Future features, I would recommend adding tracking of one's diet / supplement stack so a lifter can use data to see what stack gives him or her more results in the gym.
Just a bit of insight from someone you takes lifting pretty seriously. Congrats on the launch and the great design!
@pddro Thanks for the thorough feedback Pedro, that means a lot. As far as adding exercises and sets goes; that is indeed not possible (at this point) as it would distort stats for a workout. Eg. if you suddenly add a couple of exercises the stats (based of off your last workout that didn't have the extra exercises) won't be very useful. We'll think about whether the flexibility for some would in fact outweigh the stats part of the app, as that is a big indicator for a lot of people to see whether or not they're getting stronger. We'll definitely give it some more thought. Thanks again, also for the kind words!

Ignite seems easy to use and perfect way to have better performance on the gym!
I highly agree that it should integrate with AppleWatch.
@status_200_ok Thanks a lot for your feedback and the kind words Inhan! It's nice to know there are at least a few people who would like to see an AppleWatch app of Ignite. We'll keep it in mind, although we can't make any promises.
How does this differentiate from the super popular app (the one I use), "Strong". They also have the same philosophy with not forcing a specific workout routine and is very open.
