Just installed it as a potential alternative to Franz and I really like it so far. Nice work on the UI – it makes it feel very "native" and takes away a lot of the awkwardness that normally comes with wrapping web apps in desktop apps.
+1 on the account re-ordering. That's pretty much the only thing that's missing for me at the moment. (I confess, I did replace the app icon with a more general instant messenger icon so it fits better between my other dock icons. But that's just me 😉)
This. Is. a revelation! HOW can something so convenient look and work so good & well? V2 dreams? Gmail integration. @implus@danberezovsky

guys, i used to be a regular user from your old platform, since 2003 i think, i stop using that when fucking messenger close, i'm so happy to see you still working on that amazing project, here is some tips
rearrange the accounts
need the team icon on the slack channels, avatar on twitter accounts and you know where is this going
need integration with tweetdeck
and that's it, i think if you add those features i will definitely change my franz to your platform, i love the way you integrate the apps, very cute ui
@sanshiro that would be great! we will probably ping you as soon as we start localization of the app :)

So, I bought IM+ to replace Franz hopping that this being a paid product and with a long experience in the messaging business would be as it should ... WRONG ... besides the nice UI which I appreciate being a designer, the UX part is lacking some crucial functionalities.
1. Consumes so much RAM than Franz does.
2. Missing ability to turn off services that you're not using after working hour (slack) - Franz has it
3. Missing navigating through tabs with CTRL+TAB - Franz has it
4. On Slack, I have like 6-7 teams added ... all have the same Slack Icon - why aren't you pulling the teams logo and replacing that like Franz does?
... and yeah I changed the dock icon too, designed my own.
Overall visually looks good but performance wise I'm extremely disappointed, it costs too much for what it is ... kinda thinking of asking for a refund ...

Pros:
Nicer UI
Cons:
Slow, consumes too much resources, lacking important features that free alternatives have
Hey Hunters, we’re excited to be on Product Hunt today!
With IM+ we are aggregating messaging since 2002. We even made IM+ Skype for iPhone before the App Store came out.
Very recently we launched IM+ on the Mac App Store, which currently integrates WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype, Slack, Telegram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and WeChat. The app is Electron based, fast, and simply makes you a messaging hero.
A couple cool features are:
Beautiful sidebar
Multiple accounts per service
Color tags
Muting notifications and sounds
IM+ is truly the best way to organize the oftentimes cumbersome messaging experience, and we have many more features in the pipeline.
We would love to hear your feedback, so ask us anything!

Very sweet interface! Hope to see some extensions in the future, like integration in the menu bar :) Keep up the good work!
