Hey there, Product Hunt π
Website and app performance is important for building a great UX and critical to make sure your visitors aren't bailing due to a slow loading page.
Images are often a major reason for poor performance, as loading them unoptimized can greatly increase the size of the page, slowing down the load of the page.
So how can I help?
I've built imgto.xyz as a free image optimization tool (and converter!) that allows you to easily drop in a bunch of images, automatically optimize them all, and even convert them to more efficient formats like WebP, AVIF, and JXL.
My goal was to make this experience as smooth and easy as possible and hope you find it easily joining the list of tools in your belt.
Under the hood it uses Cloudinary APIs to automatically optimize and easily convert to different formats.
It's open source, meaning you can see how it works and even contribute to making it even better!
Would love to hear what you think regarding all aspects, whether it's the UX or the optimization itself. Enjoy!
