I love the simplicity of this product and the fact that I can use a custom domain — I feel weird about Medium because the content doesn’t feel like my own but Imprint gives me a lot more autonomy and sense of ownership (so maybe it’s finally time to start publishing my writing and thoughts)! Congrats on the launch, Roland! ☺️

This is amazing! I think it’s finally time for content ownership to take center stage without being sandboxed within a specific platform and it’s terms. dictating all terms. I’ve tried blogging on a custom site but - like you said - getting exposure is hard. By blending the best of products like sub stack newsletters and adding features custom domains, I can finally feel more ownership over my content, and I’m pumped to revisit blogging. Congrats on the launch roland!

Great idea.. tried it.. feels a little beta as of now.. I was not able to delete an image that I added in post.. instead my text got deleted when I pressed back space.. would love to see it mature and grow! Gundeep.imprint.io

As for monetization, I'm copying an answer from earlier here: Monetization is one of the trickiest things with a product like this, since respecting our users' privacies and our own values is so important. It's something we're going to approach really carefully as we continue to grow. Two things we've been considering are to charge a monthly fee to host your Imprint blog, or to allow for sponsored posts on the Imprint news feed. If we do go with the sponsored posts option, we'd never intrude on your own blog page (i.e roland.imprint.to) — that will be ad free and totally up to you to monetize how you want.

@kofiidee Sorry for the late response Kofi. Usernames should be between 3-16 characters, and have no special characters (only a-z letters). Let me know if you get it figured out!
