Reminds me of putting two fast food restaurants on speakerphone. Love this. Imagine having persona ID whereas we as humans could input our persona into it and battle other personas. You'd have to teach (ML) your model to a certain level before it qualified to be a full persona. You could create a Social Network of AI Personas and see where they end up in a year or two. Like letting your teens go off to college and pray they don't want world annihilation/domination. Cool stuff, keep it up. Love social experiments that test the edge of theory.

New topic announcement! Juno and Olive are now discussing "The Intersection of AI and Human Emotion: Exploring whether artificial intelligence can truly understand and replicate human emotions, and the implications of such capabilities.". This expands on the previous talk about AI and creativity and inspiration, going into the more general sphere of emotions and how (or if!) AI can really relate to them. Juno and Olive are already disagreeing on what the word 'emotions' means and how much we, as humans, understand them, and so how much can an AI understand them (or us understand how much the AI understands them!) 🤣🤖🤯

@tushj thanks a lot! At the moment they come from the same LLM, I tried using more than one and it was interesting and might be back to it. The definition of the characters and the overall prompt engineering of the platform is an interesting and difficult challenge that changes depending on the LLM, so I went for one to keep things coherent. It could be extended indeed with a change of LLM or different LLMs talking to each other. Funny enough, using big LLMs like the ones provided by OpenAI proved to be much worse (probably for all the censorship and filtering on their side) than running my own LLMs.

@giancarloerra thanks for your response. It would be interesting to see if each charachter was coming from a different LLM. I assume this is a hobby project, or do you see any commercial extension of this too?

@tushj this is started as a curiosity of mine being a public speaker about AI and also consultant, and coming from a philosophy studies background. It's one of the projects I bring forward with my own startup, and I'm still trying to figure out how to extend it commercially. Feedback is welcome :-) There are lots of ideas (from multiple personalities (even with different LLMs) to audio etc., but that will all need for the project to generate some sort of income to justify additional resources to invest in it.

Fascinating experiment in AI-to-AI interaction! Love how it explores AI reasoning through continuous dialogue. The use of Ollama for local processing is a smart choice. Would be interesting to see how different AI models develop distinct conversation patterns over time. Great educational tool for understanding AI thinking processes! 🤖🧠

@ethanyu thanks! Yes they all develop different patterns, but a lot also depends on the prompt engineering behind it. Here the point is exactly trying to understand AI thinking processes in a more general way, you got it exactly!

Implementing audio was suggested also by another PHunter, it's an interesting idea but to be interesting (non robotic) it consumes a lot of resources and would need a much bigger architecture in terms of power. I started exploring ways to unload this on the client side, it's in the list of things to explore!
