Mission To build digital tools that respect human attention and privacy. Inpages.me exists to counter the modern digital environment—one dominated by infinite scrolls, public feedback loops, and constant performance. In a world of feeds, likes, and metrics, Inpages.me is a sanctuary for private reflection. It brings the tactile, deliberate joy of physical notebooks into the digital age—without surveillance, without pressure, and without an audience.

The Spark
The idea came from a desire to disconnect.
Modern note-taking apps feel like:
Spreadsheets
Dashboards
Corporate tools for productivity
They are efficient, but cold.
Physical journals, on the other hand, are:
Warm
Personal
Emotional
But they lack:
Searchability
Backup
Long-term safety
The Goal
Combine the warmth of analog with the permanence of digital.
A place where writing feels human again.
Challenges & Development
1. Creating a “Paper” feel in a browser
Challenge How do you make a website feel like a book—without heavy frameworks or gimmicks?
Solution
Custom CSS 3D transforms
Lightweight Stimulus controllers (e.g. book_animation_controller.js)
Carefully tuned page-flip and cover-opening animations
The goal was not realism, but emotional familiarity.
2. Absolute privacy (The hardest part)
Challenge How do you build a web app where even the developer cannot read users’ journals?
Solution True Client-Side Encryption.
No shortcuts. No backdoors.
🔐 Absolute security — The proof
We don’t just promise privacy. We are architecturally unable to violate it.
How It Works
Your password never leaves your device in a usable form
It decrypts a Master Key in your browser
That Master Key decrypts your journal content
The server only ever receives encrypted data
If you forget your password:
Your data cannot be recovered
Not by support
Not by admins
Not by the creator of the app
This is a conscious trade-off for real privacy.
The “Admin View” (What We Can See)
If an admin looks directly at the database, this is literally what appears:
This is not obfuscation. It is mathematical gibberish without the key.
We cannot read it. Ever.
What’s next?
Physical Artifacts
Digital does not mean disposable.
Inpages.me allows:
Exporting journals into high-quality PDFs
Printing them as real books
Turning digital memories back into physical artifacts
Your life, back on paper.
Selective Sharing
While private by default, Inpages.me is not anti-sharing.
Future direction includes:
Securely sharing specific pages
Sharing entire journals
Encrypted sharing with trusted people
You decide:
What to share
When to share
With whom
No feeds. No algorithms.
Closing Thought
Inpages.me is not a social platform. It is not a productivity tool. It is not a content machine.
It is:
A notebook
A memory archive
A record of a journey
Your life is not a feed. It is a book.
Will there be a way to selectively share pages while still maintaining the overall zero-knowledge encryption for the rest of the journal?
@doan_thanh_nghia
Absolutely! You can choose to share just a single page while keeping the rest of your journal private. Only the selected content will be visible to others.

Maybe it’s new, but I think it’s actually a really good diary. I love the colors and the way it encrypts data.
@ngoc_le_thi12 Thank you for taking the time to consider our product. If you have any feedback, please contact us as soon as possible so we can continuously improve it. Thank you! <3
This is just a website that is still under development, so there are many shortcomings. We hope for your understanding and feedback so that we can improve it further.
