Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Subham, co-founder of StartApps, and I wanted to share a quick story about how InvoX was born.
Last year, I helped a friend launch her freelance design studio. She juggled client calls, project work, and worst of all, invoicing. Every month, she wrestled with clunky SaaS tools charging her $30–$50 in subscription fees plus transaction cuts, eating into her slim margins. She’d send invoices by hand, chase late payments with emotional emails, and spend weekends reconciling expenses instead of designing.
One evening over coffee, we sketched out the dream: “What if you could own your invoicing system with one payment, without monthly fees ever again?” We pictured a self-hosted platform that automates reminders, recurring billing so you never have to chase a client, and a dashboard that tells you exactly where your revenue stands-no surprises.
Fast-forward six months, and InvoX is the result of that conversation. We built the core features ourselves - expense tracking, invoice templates, automated reminders, and even duplicate detection - then tested it with freelancers, agencies, and small businesses. Their feedback shaped every detail: from secure cloud storage to seamless QuickBooks integration.
Today, we’re thrilled to share InvoX with the Product Hunt community. Our mission is simple: help every creative, consultant, or small business owner replace recurring invoicing fees with one lifetime license, so you keep 100% of the money you earn.
