@abhishek_agarwal Quite a lot. If you just implement push notifications as is i.e you are asking people to subscribe the moment they land on your website, you will almost as many blocks as allows. So you can expect the block rates to be between 5-10%. Unsubscription rates are completely dependent on how you engage with users - You push out too many notifications, irrelevant content, your unsubscription rates can be as high as 10%.

Sounds awesome. This would probably work well for restaurants and other small businesses to improve their ability to grab potential customers at just the right moment. Any suggestions though on how to keep from appearing spammy?

@en_chiang Yeah. We have a few businesses in the QSR vertical and they are amongst the heavy weight users of the product. I think the key lies in understanding user preferences and behaviour and using it to drive interaction. Most of the restaurants go overboard and send notifications for every single day and every single offer. Hygiene checks like - - Segmenting users by their choice of cuisine - Planning weekend communication well in advance - Running specific A/B experiments to figure out the opt frequency of communication - Avoiding messaging during lunch hours. Planning communication well in advance and scheduling it just before lunch/ dinner hours. The web audience deserves more ways of engagement on user's journey. Notifications have been known to be notorious and that's why they have high opt out rates as well. Other means could be things like custom popups, in page notifications etc based on triggers.

Also, lot of people look for a solution that does the engagement for apps & web together so that may be a area to explore as well.

Pros:

Breeze to integrate and get started

Starts working from Day 1 with almost no hassels

A team that communicates well - kudos Kristi!

Cons:

Should expand to cover more engagement means than just notifs

Perhaps the first on the market to allow non https sites to send notifications without friction. That really helped a lot of folks like us who took time to adopt https! Apart from that a helpful team and quick launch of new features is appreciated.

I used iZooto on my website for quite a while and had an amazing experience. The console is easy to use. The notifications were delivered without any glitch. They do a good job w.r.t. knowledge sharing and introducing best practices through their webinars.

Pros:

Simple and easy to use. Free to get started and get the experience.

Cons:

I haven't come across any.
