Howdy Product Hunt! 👋 I’m John, the dev behind JsonExport. I built this tool because I was frustrated with the state of existing JSON converters. As a developer/analyst, I often had to convert massive JSON dumps (logs, API responses) to Excel for non-technical team members. The existing options were terrible: -Security Nightmares: "Upload your file to our server" (Nope, can't do that with customer data). -The `[object Object]` Problem: Nested JSON would just break, leaving me to write custom Python scripts every time. -Size Limits: "File too large" errors on anything over 10MB. JsonExport is the answer to those frustrations. It runs 100% locally in your browser using Web Workers and streaming parsers. This means: 1. Zero Privacy Risk: We literally cannot see your data. 2. Blazing Speed: No network upload time. 3. Smart Parsing: It auto-detects deeply nested structures and flattens them intelligently. 4. Practically limitless: While not truly limitless, you can be sure that the only cap is your browser resources. We focused heavily on the UX (User Experience, for the normies)—giving you a real Data Grid to preview and edit your data before you export, and an editor for pasting code. Handling large, sensitive JSON files fully in the browser. What edge cases should I watch for?

I m building JsonExport, a JSON to Excel/CSV converter that runs entirely in the browser.

The main motivation was privacy and scale. I kept running into tools that required uploading sensitive logs or customer data, or that completely fell apart once nested JSON or larger files were involved.

I decided to go fully client-side using streaming parsers and Web Workers, which has worked surprisingly well so far, even with very large files.
